Autoblog reports that Maybach is putting the rare Exelero sedan up for sale. Your cost? A mere $7.8 million. (Makes the Bugatti Veyron seem like a bargain, huh?) So, why the expense? The Exelero is a one-off, originally commissioned by German company Fulda to show off its new line of tires. The car also packs a 700-horsepower V12 engine—good for up to 218 miles per hour—and a modified design that, for our money (so to speak), trumps that of the Mayback 57 on which it's based.
