Blogging. Fiasco. That's what I'm on right now. Seriously, though, I'm headed to bed now. I swear.

Funny thing about this clip: they both have teeth.

First off, SpongeBob SquarePants = Dope (that's where the picture is from.) This is the title track off the new Streets album, Everything Is Borrowed. Album is fucking great. So great. Even my girl likes it and she usually doesn't like what I listen to. Anyways, check the track and I'm about to open up my new copy of The Force Unleashed and murk some Jedi. Probably not, though. I'm beat.

Oh, and I'm gonna unveil a new installment to my music series tomorrow. Be on the lookout for that!

nfl week three

Yeah, yeah. Packers lost. I know. All you Cowboys fans can rejoice for now. And Al Harris has a ruptured spleen and will probably be out for the season. So... let's change the subject.

Anyone see the Dolphins/Pats game or highlights? Ronnie Brown was a beast. Whomever had him on their fantasy team should be very happy. Speaking of Fantasy Football, I lost in one and won in the other. So that makes me 2-1 in my ESPN one and 3-0 in my Yahoo one. So what else? Giants beat my hometown Bengals in overtime, Brett Favre couldn't bring the sorry Jets to a victory tonight, Jacksonville beat the struggling Colts, and the Buffalo Bills lead in the AFC East.

Something's wrong with that picture.

Anyways, you know where you can find all the scores... after the Lambeau Leap (which didn't happen this week.)

killa instinct

I can't believe I forgot to post this. I thought I did but I just got done doing some yard work and realized that I didn't. I'll let vinylpulse describe this crazy figure. They'll do a better job than I could.
Marka27’s next dope vinyl figure, Killa Instinct, produced by Bic Plastics will be throwing down on both coasts with two release parties next month. Suru will drop Killa Instinct first in LA on Saturday, October 4th followed a week later by myplasticheartnyc in NYC on October 11th.

Marka and Bic Plastics have raised the bar with Killa Instinct. Transformed by toxic spray paint fumes, this mutated graff writer (looking quite a bit like Marka himself) is ready for action with tools of the trade – a bad-ass removable gas mask, spray can, marker, bolt cutters, finger rings, and more.

Graff is part of Killa Instinct’s being. So much so that he’s got a spray can erupting out of his back. Don’t you dare call him a hunch back though. The spray can which fuels his exploits directly through his gas mask also doubles as a secret stash with a removable top – for markers, an old school King or whatever else you want.
The starting price of Killa Instinct is $95. It stands 8 inches tall and only 300 are being made. I would so buy this if I could. I'd sit them next to my few Dunny 5 figues and my Kidrobot Simpsons figures I got a week or so ago. Anyways, there are more pictures of the figure at this location.

By the way, if you're in NYC and want to see the launch of this figure here is the address:

red demon: classico

Red Demon: Classico
Price: $44.99

Only 500 of these were made and they're restocking soon. Here's what myplasticheart said about Red Demon.

Red Demon is a member of the Luchadores5, a group of brawlers that uses practiced skills in the ancient arts of Lucha Libre to protect their East L.A. turf from thugs and monsters. It’s too bad their neighbors see them as a bunch of overgrown dorks.

Red Demon has worked very hard to become the “cool guy” in the group. He wears the nicest clothes and moves in the smoothest manner. He’s also really good at picking up on women (which is really hard to do when you’re always wearing a mask)…but has a very difficult time maintaining a long-term relationship.

This might be a bit old but this is the first time I've seen it, so it's new to me. Still listening to the new Streets album. I'll have a full review either tonight or Twosday.

the streets 'everything is borrowed'

If you thought I listened to Kanye West too much, you don't know the half of it. There are three musicians I idolize: Kanye West, Jimi Hendrix, and Mike Skinner. Mike Skinner, otherwise known as The Streets, makes absolutely amazing music. He's an English rapper/lyricist/poet and his albums have made me think about my life a lot.

So, I was listening to the song Streets Score, and I was thinking if The Streets had a new album out. I had heard about a new album but wasn't sure when it was being released. SO I checked Wikipedia and, sure enough, a new album is out. And when did it come out? September 15th... my birthday. Well, it came out in the UK already and not until October 7th in the states. I'm not waiting till the 7th to listen to this so I immediately went on a torrent hunt. Now, The Streets isn't for everyone, but I think he's a genius.

Anyways, I figured I'd let you know what I'd be listening to tonight at 2:30 in the morning. Sin's probably asleep (remember, it's 7:30 A.M. in Scotland) and he knows how much I love The Streets. Alright, I'm done typing. This torrent needs to download faster. Maybe some ice cream and ATHF will make it go faster.

EDIT: Torrent finished. Now we listen.

tonedeff 'warden (love lockdown remix)'

While visiting the dopeboyz, I saw this and it caught my eye because it's a remix to, probably, my favorite song out right now. I'm obsessed with Love Lockdown so much that my girl told me if she ever heard it while I was driving her somewhere she'd go crazy. Anyways, Tonedeff is a new artist I've never heard of but this song is just brilliant. I'm gonna be checking out some Tonedeff stuff and I'll let you all know how it is.

You know, something else I noticed... this month has been kinda slow for blog posts. Don't worry, two.shotters... 10/08 is gonna expolde for sure.

t.i. 'paper trail' full album leaked

Before I start... did you see THIS? After getting home from having some SoCo and Coke's (Delicious, but didn't drink more than three), this made my night for sure. But Hendrix finally getting some recognition in the Guitar Hero series? Amazing, really. That will be the game I play forever.

Anyways...

So, it appears T.I.'s highly anticipated album, Paper Trail, has been leaked on the internet. The album is scheduled to come out 09/30, but it's been leaked about a week or so early. Apparently, the album is full of remorseful, thoughtful tracks that include how he has changed into a better man and how he feels so bad about how his longtime friend, Philant Johnson, was killed right here in Cincinnati at Club Ritz. I remember the night that happened... there was a shootout on the highway and his friend got shot over him throwing money and the people in the club got pissed.

Money always brings out the worst in people.

And, even though the song's been out forever, Swagger Like Us will be on the album according to Atlantic Records.

So, if you can find the album, let MX know how it is. Hell, maybe I'll go on a hunt for it myself. Though, if the album is good I'll buy it. I got an early copy of L.A.X. but I bought that the day it came out. I support good music. You should too.

As I said, Paper Trail legally comes out 09/30.

Guitar Hero: Jimi Hendrix?

Ex Guns N' Roses guitarist, Slash, in a recent interview with Rolling Stone may have let a bit of a bombshell drop.

He told the Rolling Stones' interviewer Jimi Hendrix was to follow suit with the whole, Guitar Hero dedicated game. When asked "as the original guy do you feel more invested in the game?", he responded with:

"Well, having the Aerosmith guys do it was very cool ’cause Aerosmith’s one of the bands I was heavily influenced by. And Metallica’s doing it, that’s great. Those are two ones that I think gives it some credibility. And they’re doing a Hendrix one, which is great."

Could it be true? If so, there will be a ton of GH fans blowing a collective load, that's for sure.

10 drinks real men don't order

As I was checking Askmen, I saw this story and figured this would be perfect for posting. See, when my girl and I went out Monday for my birthday, she ordered some kind of drink with peach in it and some other fruity stuff and she told me to order one. We got into a discussion about what guys drink and what guys don't drink. She drinks beer too so it's all good.

So when I saw this article, it made me chuckle because this was a topic we had a few nights ago. The number one on the list was the drink I told her no straight guy should ever drink.

In the list there are the ingredients to the drink and ways to 'man it up'. Find out what not to drink, fellas, after the jump.

It's so good to be legal.

No.10 - Tequila Sunrise

Ingredients: Tequila, orange juice and grenadine

Man it up: Try a Mexican Screw (Cabo Wabo Reposada Tequila and orange juice). It’s a great alternative to coffee at a dreaded brunch.

No.9 - Malibu & Diet

Ingredients: Malibu Rum and Diet Coke

The Malibu & Diet is a favorite of many college girls for its lack of calorie and carbohydrate content. Also, it’s an easy way to spot a Tri Delt on pretty much any college campus.

Man it up: Captain and Coke (Captain Morgan Rum and Coca-Cola). There’s nothing wrong with a rum and Coke when ordered correctly, just be sure to ask for the right variation.

No.8 - Fuzzy Navel

Ingredients: Vodka, Peach Schnapps, orange juice

When dealing with alcohol, “fuzzy” refers to peach and “navel” speaks of orange flavors.

Man it up: Screwdriver (vodka and orange juice). The Screwdriver is a classic cocktail found on many golf courses before an early tee time.

No.7 - Lemon Drop

Ingredients: Tuaca, Grand Marnier, sugar, and a lemon wedge

Man it up: A shot of chilled Tuaca. Its smooth and almost vanilla flavors make for a supremely easy shot that, with enough down the hatch, will put you on the floor nice and slowly.

No.6 - Amaretto Sour

Ingredients: Amaretto, sweet and sour and a maraschino cherry. A cherry? Enough said.

Man it up: Old-Fashioned Whisky Sour (whisky, sweet and sour mix and bitters). Ask the barmaid to skip on the cherry or you might as well curtsy when they deliver it.

No.5 - Strawberry Margarita (or any frozen swirl)

Ingredients: Good question. Who knows what goes into that frozen margarita machine. In my years of restaurant experience I’ve known bartenders and beverage directors to start with a sugary mix, cheap scotch and Sprite, then finish with any bottle left collecting dust in the liquor cage. You don’t want to know about the morning we found a cockroach doing the backstroke on top of the neon green glacier.

Man it up: Top Shelf Margarita on The Rocks (Patron Silver Tequila, Grand Marnier, Cointreau, sweet and sour mix, lime juice, and ice).

No.4 - Wine Spritzer

Ingredients: Cheap wine and soda water, often garnished with fruit. Here is another example of taking a perfectly fine alcohol and destroying it. A great wine should stand on its own. A cheap wine should never be bought.

Man it up: A fat Cabernet or even a Malbec. The only way to go here is in the total and absolute opposite direction. Instead of lightening a crap wine with soda, go for the stuff that puts hair on your chest. A nice Malbec has the taste and smell of an Argentinean winery, slightly dusty and full of passion.

No.3 - Any Alcopop

These include such bottled delights as Smirnoff Ice, Two Dogs, Hooper’s Hooch, Zima, and Mike’s Hard Lemonade. These are fruity malt beverages ordered by women because the don’t like the taste of beer.

Man it up: If you must go for a flavored beverage, try out a Bud Light Lime. It is still pretty new to the scene, and although it is a beer, Bud Light Lime has found great success in the flavored malt beverage market that Smirnoff has dominated for years now.

No.2 - Appletini

Ingredients: Vodka and Apple Puckers. This drink breaks two of the cardinal rules of manly drinks: Always avoid fruity/sweet flavors and glow-in-the-dark colors.

Man it up: Bombay Sapphire Gin Martini (Bombay Sapphire Gin, vermouth, blue cheese stuffed green olives). The only thing green about a martini should be the olives in the bottom of the glass. “Shaken, not stirred,” of course.

No.1 - Cosmopolitan

Ingredients: Vodka, Triple Sec, cranberry and lime juice.

The Cosmopolitan is our No. 1 pick for drinks real men don’t order. It has two juices and three fruity flavors for Pete’s sake! And for what? To take the bite out of the vodka? In our opinion nothing screams “buy me diamonds” or “I planned today’s outfit last night” more than this incredibly unmanly beverage.

Man it up: Cape Cod (vodka and cranberry juice). Order with caution; this is a pink drink. As a general rule, men should never be caught dead with a pink beverage in hand, but this one is acceptable in some circles.

john legend f/ kanye west 'it's over'

Ever since I heard Green Light with Andre 3K, I've been ready for this new John Legend album. The album art is pretty sick too. Again, 'Ye is using his new best friend, the auto-tune, which actually works for him in this song. For a second I thought J.Legend was using it but then I listened again and heard he wasn't.

Evolver hits stores (and iTunes for you couch music shoppers) 10/28.

aubrey o'day complex magazine photoshoot

What a great thing to wake up to. The frontwoman for Danity Kane, Aubrey O'Day, has a new spread up in Complex magazine. This was probably on their site last night but since Cincinnati has been fucked over due to Hurricane Ike (losing power, high gas, fucking anarchy) I lost power for the second time last night. Thankfully it was on when I woke up.

Anyways, the full photoshoot is after the jump. There's these pictures with her on a stripper pole.... cot damn.

mtv trl (total request live) ending in november

So I figured this was gonna happen sometime soon. TRL, the teenage show that used to be cool back when Carson Daly was hosting it, is ending in November. Well, not ending, per se. On MTV.com's article, they say the show is going on 'hiatus' and could be resurrected one day but let's be brutally honest here. MTV isn't gonna bring back a show that they're cancelling. If that was the case my favorite cartoon, Beavis & Butthead, would be having new shows now.

Oh well.

The finale of TRL is airing on a Saturday in November and it will be two hours long. Also Eminem had this to say:
"I'm going to miss 'TRL,'" said Eminem who, at the height of his popularity, took over hosting duties for a week. "Where else will I be able to start feuds, defend my honor vigorously and act like an angry teenager on national TV? Oh wait...the VMAs!"
So... wait Eminem. When did you become relevant enough that your opinions matter? I thought you were still out grubbing on donuts and gaining fifty pounds. Oh, I am such a hater. But I thought the VMA's were damn good this year. Russell Brand did a damn good job and we needed someone who wasn't going to hold his tongue. It's too bad that half of his opening act was cut out of the replays of the VMA's. Damn censorship. I just need to move to the UK where I can drive down the streets and see billboards of naked women.

Wouldn't that be nice?
