Woman Assaulted For Wearing Anti-Obama Shirt

So while searching the interwebs, and HHDX, I came across this very interesting story. A woman was assaulted for wearing a shirt saying 'Obama Is My Slave' by four girls. The woman who was wearing the shirt is now suing the designer of the shirt.

You know I have to say something.

Where does this woman get off suing the designer of the shirt? When she bought the shirt she knew exactly what message she was displaying and that there might be ramifications, it not physically then verbally. She was the one who chose to wear the shirt and she ultimately suffered consequences. That's like saying if a member of the KKK walks down the street and a black man beats him down, the people who made the robes should be sued.

It's just doesn't work that way.

These are the kind of things I hate. I hate people who want to point the finger on someone else and say that it is their fault for making the shirt that they bought for $70 bucks and wear out in public. Sure, we live in a country where there is freedom of speech but ever since 9/11 freedom of speech is very minimal without reprocussions. Everyone in America is very touchy on things that offend them and people should realize this instead of being blind to the fact.

I don't know the race of the woman attacked but I'm sure she'll be crying 'racism' either or. See, if I were to get attacked by a Caucasian for wearing a shirt like that I wouldn't cry racism. Hell, I wouldn't be stupid enough to wear a shirt like that out in public. I feel that you should keep how you feel to yourself and wear that shit indoors or talk about it behind closed doors. We all saw what happened with Jesse Jackson wanting to 'cut Obama's nuts off'. The backlash he's getting is insane. If Jesse would have kept his mouth shut then he'd still look like the good guy.

The woman should have known better.

A 25-year-old woman in New York City is suing the designer of an anti-Barack Obama t-shirt after she was assaulted while wearing one of his controversial t-shirts.

The woman, who has not been identified, purchased a shirt with the words “Obama is My Slave” shirt for $69. While wearing the shirt this past Tuesday, she was assaulted by four girls, who pushed her down, pulled out her earphones, and spit in her face according to the New York Metro News.

Apollo Braun—the Israeli born designer who made the shirt—is now saying the victim of the attack is trying to sue him for “all he’s got.”

Braun claims that his designs reflect the views of “ordinary WASPs (White Anglo Saxon Protestants).”

“For a lot of people, when they see Obama, they see a slave. People think America is not ready for a black president,” Braun told Metro.

In addition to the “Obama Is My Slave” tee, Braun has also designed shirts with the following slogans: “Jews Against Obama,” “Obama=Hitler,” and “Who Killed Obama?”

The latter shirt, Braun says, is the most popular.

Braun says the only thing he likes about Obama is that he’s black because his ethnicity “opens the door for minorities.” He also says he doesn’t like Obama because “he is a Muslim” and “he reminds me of Adolf Hitler.”

The Muslim rumor has already been debunked.
