gears of war 2 launch center

I know this is mad late and all... but a Gears of War 2 launch center is up at IGN.com. I'm not checking it out because I want to be surprised on November 7th when I play Campaign with my buddy. Anyways, everyone have a great Halloween and if you're legal and going to a Halloween Party (like me) then have fun. For the little two.shotters out there... wear dope costumes and make sure you get mass candy.

That's what Halloween is all about... getting mass candy and dressing up as a ghoul. I'm being a redneck for Halloween. Maybe I'll have pics. Who knows.

m.o.p. sues john cena

Funny story as soon as I hit the ol' HipHopDX. M.O.P. is suing rapper John Cena for $150,000 because he used part of M.O.P.'s hit single Ante Up. You know, the battle cry at the beginning (BRRR Abado) that you can hear throughout Cena's theme song The Time Is Now.

Let's be serious for a minute here, shall we?

How long as The Time Is Now been out? Like, 5 years? So now, all of a sudden, M.O.P. is suing John Cena and all his entities? Please, son, this is desperate. Don't pull this shit that he's using an uncleared sample and you just NOW realized this. How long has the nukka John Cena been popular? Since the fall of WWE. Pathetic.

Oh well... it's not like I watch WWE anymore anyways. Fucking garbage.

t-pain 'karaoke' (video)

So here's the video to the song Blogger took off of this blog. You'll see how dope it is now (for those who didn't get a chance to listen to the actual track.) Peep the intro, kids. Too good. This is one of the best music videos I've seen in a while. T-Pain is a genius and I will bear fight anyone who disagrees with me.

john k. political figures

Saw this on Vinyl Pulse and I had to post it. John K. is releasing political figures of Barack Obama, John McCorpe McCain, and Hillary Clinton. If you're in L.A. (where all the cool shit happens), go to the signing this Saturday, 11/1. Remember, Tuesday is Election Day and go out and vote... whomever you're voting for.

Before I sign off with my usual MX -ish, I gotta say I'm a little pissed. First, Blogger took off my Kanye post and now they have taken off my post of T-Pain's dope ass song Karaoke. The T-Pain one was, apparently, breaking copyright violations when I gave the source but no reason for the Kanye one? I'm seriously about to leave and make two-shot on wordpress.

Anyways, I'll blog some more tonight because I've been slacking heavily. I can't leave all my two.shotters hangin'!

nfl week eight

Fucking terrible. 0-8. It makes me ashamed to live in Cincinnati. Oh well, not a Bengals fan so I really could care less haha!

The G Force was off this week but all the other games were sick as fuck. The Giants took the Steelers in their own game, the Titans keep their undefeated streak alive (till next week when the Pack takes them to school), NFL went to London where the Saints charged the -um- Chargers, Mike Singletary has some balls and punishes his team like a team should be, and the Cowboys still look like shit.

Watch the World Series too people. It's a good series and, for the first time in history, game five of the World Series was suspended 2-2 at the bottom of the 6th. If the Phillies win, it's over. Still, NFL is better.

More scores are under the cut.

I'm tryin' to stay on my blogging grind. It's hard out there for a pimp, Shieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Anyways, here's a track off of Luda's new album Theater Of The Mind, dropping in your local Best Buy, Wal-Mart, iTunes... wherever November 25th. It features Weezy F Baby not using the Auto Tune. I like Auto Tune and all but you gotta know how to use it. Wayne does not.

Good looks to the dopeboyz for bringing this to my attention. After a night of working and chillin with wifey, a good track is what I needed to make the night even better. Peep the album art too. I like it. Now we just need 808's and Heartbreak's album art and I'll be good to go.

darth vader for soul caliber IV on 360

Your eyes do not decieve you... yet again. First Sin posts for the first time since B.C. and now as soon as I get on XBL for the first time in forever, I see that Darth Vader is now a playable character in Soul Caliber IV. This is where I'll be for the next few hours, working on mastering his moveset. If you wanna play with me or play some Fable II with Sin, my gamertag is L0UISVUITTOND0N and his is, of course, Scottish Sin.

Happy gaming.

- MX

Gaming Nirvana

Your eyes do not decieve you. This is Scottish Sin posting on Two Shot, or other wise known as 'that blog where MX posts the cool shit all the time with that Scottish Sin guy that pops up every now and again who posts about some shit when he feels like it' blog. I think we'll stick to Two Shot, and for good reason.

Anyways... today I got the LE edition of Fable II. I've played a little bit and it's great so far. I'm having fun in the first big town you get to called Bowerstone where I'm trying to get those promotions as a Blacksmith, because more promotions means more money which is always a good thing. I've already bought a fruit & veg store and a pie shop, so whenever I log back in I should have some money waiting for me, because it runs on a cool system that accumulates money for you even when you're not playing the game.

The dog which is a new feature in Fable II adds a lot to the game, especially when he starts sniffing out treasure and gets scared when you go into dungeons to the point you pretty much have to reassure him before moving on. It adds another little cool element to the game in that you have a true companion that can tag along in your quests.

As for the armour you get with the LE edition, it's a medievel version of the Halo armour which looks nice. Real nice. I got the pink dye and all those other items you get from the puppet show flash game on xbox.com as well, but haven't used those yet.

The only thing I'm using is the energy sword as I tried out the armour for a little bit, but I felt it looked too good just as you're starting out in the game, so I went back to my old stuff and I'll just look for other clothes as I progress through the game to get a natural sense of moving on up through the world of Albion. That, and while it's cool, it's more of a novelty and there for marketing reasons, so that's another reason I've put it away.

Overall, first impressions are great and I can see myself having a lot of fun with this game as I expected. Not let down in the slightest.

Anyways, with my impressions of Fable II out of the way. Let me tell you why this post is called Gaming Nirvana.

One, I've got Fable II now which is great, and next Thursday I'll have another game that I've been looking forward to for a long time called Fallout 3. A post Apocalyptic RPG from Bethesda who a lot will know are the makers of Oblivion. Another amazing game, just ask MX how much I loved and played that, so you can imagine I'm excited.

Not only that, but the folowing Friday on November 7th, Emergence Day, another amazing game hits called Gears of War 2. You may have heard of it. This game I cannot wait for. It's going to be immense and I'm looking forward to taking on the Horde with my Pk partner in crime, MX. You'll catch us online on that a lot, RAPING as usual.

But that my friends is why the next few weeks and the months after that are going to be Gaming Nirvana, and despite the shitty news about Xbox Live Primetime being delayed, don't you just love the Xbox 360?

google phone released for $179

T-Mobile's counter to the iPhone was released today. The G1, or Google Phone, has a tracball, a slide-out keyboard, and a touch screen. Personally, I don't think it's better or even close to the iPhone. I really need to leave Verizon and go to AT&T so I can get the iPhone. It's such a dope ass phone.

The G1 retails at $179 with a new 2-year agreement.

xbl primetime delayed

I need to get back on my blogging game. Anyways, so if you're an Xbox 360 owner, you known that on November 19th the fall update is coming out for the 360. I think Sin touched on it a while ago and he was all excited about the Primetime update that was attached to it.

Sin, stop getting excited.

IGN reports that the Xbox Live Primetime won't be available until Spring of 2009. They say there are still bugs with it and that they want it to run 'as smooth as possible.' Check the link for more info. I was actually looking forward to this, too. Oh well, one set back from the awesome update coming November 19th.

lil wayne to re-release tha carter III?

According to MTV, Weezy F Baby is going to re-release his multi platinum Tha Carter III . It's supposed to have all new songs and some new versions of A Milli (like we didn't have enough of them out on the interwebs). I thought he was going to be releasing Tha Carter IV but here's what Wayne had to say about that.

"I don't know if we're gonna release Tha Carter IV now [...] I think we're gonna release Tha Carter III — a new Carter III with none of the same songs, though. None of them. Not one! We don't wanna call the [next album] we got coming out Tha Carter IV. That was the dilemma we were in. We want Carter IV to be what everybody wants it to be. This is something brand-new, so we don't want it to be some experimental thing, 'cause some people are not gonna like this. I don't want them to not like Tha Carter IV. But I do have an album coming soon, very soon, and it's gonna be called ... Tha Carter III: The Rebirth. The birth of a new beginning."

It should be kinda interesting to hear something like this. I'll have to keep a lookout for it and when I get more info, you know I'll drop it here first.

Another interesting week. The hometown team remains 0-7 and my favorite team beat the Colts. The Brett Favre era Packers couldn't beat the Colts. However, the Aaron Rodgers era Packers did. Interesting? I think so.

mx playlist *** dim the lights

mx playlist *** dim the lights

Changing the direction for a second. This one's all about the love making.

There's a reason you dim the lights when you're about to make love to your partner. The feeling and passion, accompanied by soft music, gets everything right into place. Whether you've been with your lover for a few months or a few years, you always dim the lights. You realize that you belong together and that you're addicted to each other. Guys, you know you want your girl to reach that falsetto and girls... afterwards, you'll be wearing your man's t-shirt.

For every kind of lover out there, put this on in the background to get in the mood right before you get up to dim the lights.

nailin’ paylin

I had to post this. I was watching Countdown with Keith Olbermann (remember... MX is a democrat. I don't watch Faux News) and I saw this story about Larry Flynt casting a Sarah Palin look a like to play in a porno called 'Nailin' Paylin'. Genius. So I had to look it up and thanks to The Frisky, I got some details about the porno.

According to HUSTLER, “Nailin’ Paylin” is a “naughty adventure to the wild side of that sexy Alaska governor,” featuring “girl-on-girl lovin’,” “nailing the Russians, who come knocking on her back-door,” and a younger Palin getting seduced by her college creationist professor who “will explain a ‘big bang’ theory even she can’t deny!” Also included: a three-way hardcore sex scene starring Palin/Paylin, Hillary Clinton, and Condoleeza Rice.

Apparently Paylin is busty as hell. Maybe the real Palin will get breast implants. It might make her stupidity more attractive.

nfl week six

This week in the NFL, some teams were not playing around. Like my Green Bay Packers, who improved to 3-3 and now are in a three way tie for the lead in the NFC North. The Texans were not playing as they won in the last few seconds. The Rams were tired of being winless while the Bengals and Lions seem to be happy with the goose egg in their win column.

And did you see the Sunday and Monday night games?

How 'bout them Cardinals? They broke Romo's pinky and now he's out for four weeks. Ouch. And... who saw the Browns beating the New York football Giants? I know my girl's brother in law is extremely happy about it. Lemme know what you thought about this insane week in what is an amazing NFL season.

celsius by robobox

Again, I saw this earlier but I'm now posting it because a. I was busy tofay and b. I think it's dope. Kuso Vinyl is releasing it's Celsius figure in the future and here is the prototype image of it. When it gets done, I know it is going to be super sick. I'll let the Vinyl Pulse Blog explain it more:
RoboBox’s creation is a streamlined hero ready for action. The individual elements are familiar yet the design has a ‘cool’ factor potentially because it follows several tried and true conventions. The design approach combines detailed sculpted elements including the wings, helmet and weapons with a fairly straightforward boy. Intricate deco (pad prints) will be used to fill out the character. As the vinyl toy industry moves forward, we’re bound to see an increased crossover of genres. RoboBox wields anime styling with military precision for a look that seems to buck current designer vinyl aesthetics by flirting with well-established genres.

RoboBox’s action space opera backstory for Celsisus provides us with details of the expected diabolical conflict yet does so with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Delve into the character’s origin after the jump.

Kuso Vinyl caught us by surprise with their new toy production efforts. Celsius is certainly stylish and we’re looking forward to seeing the figure develop. While we can’t reveal anything specific yet, we can say that Kuso Vinyl has a few additional figures in the wings that will compliment Celsius’s lock and load vibe with a kawaii touch.

There are more proto images and a cartoon sketch of what the figure will look like after the jump.
